The SA7 is back safe and sound. I do not really know what all the parts you have installed in the player do, the idea behind very low jitter and low supply noise does made sense to me. As I said on the phone, a good friend of mine owns a Wadia 861 and having heard it in my system of was envious of the extra bass kick, and general ‘being there’ experience with that player, yet at the same time I felt the SA7 was better in some areas. Having toyed with the idea of trading in I took what I felt was a chance with the upgrades.

This player you have returned to me is in a different league! Now instead of having music in the listening room I feel like I have the live performance, guests and all. What stands out above all else with the sound is although I am hearing more of the D’s, dynamics, detail, the sound is also more relaxing, timing is excellent.
