Hi Mark
My SB3 arrived at my desk yesterday in the morning - so I had to wait until the evening to plug it back into the system.
First impressions were - what an excellent job of modding you hae done.
If I hadn't known anything had been done then I wouldn't have realised
that the unit had been taken apart. Well other than the new digitial
out on the back.
First listen last night seemed to show that it sounds a lot richer with
more definition - I can hear seperate instruments in some songs that I
hadn't noticed before. The bass seems to be tighter and, again, with
more definition without being overpowering - just how I like it.
This evening I have just sat down and powered up the system - and it still surprises me what I can now hear.
I'm not a hi-fi expert - I enjoy listening to music - so I can't really
explain what I am hearing. All I can say is that i am really enjoying
what I am listening to - and that to me makes it all worth-while.
Many thanks - an excellent upgrade and service.
Dave
